Samsung's robot is among the most advanced robots we've evaluated and has excellent filtration, brilliant navigation and hands-free emptying of the trash bin. It comes with HEPA filtering and can lock in airborne dust particles to reduce allergies. The top of the device has a rotating brush bar with soft bristles that can get into the tight corners. It also comes with self-cleaning extractors which grind hairs to keep them from getting tangled.
The Jet Bot picked up a lot of debris on my carpets and hardwood floors when I tested it. It missed a couple of tiny things in the corner of my dining room and had to go back over them however it was very effective overall. It topped my tests when compared to the Roomba because its side brush could more effectively along edges, and was stronger in terms of cleaning small particles.
The Samsung Jet Bot is controlled by the SmartThings app and can be set to clean automatically at times that are suitable for you. It can be programmed to clean specific rooms or areas. You can also add virtual no-go zones and physical ones.

The app that accompanies the 980 is also very simple to use and provides you with a nice visual overview of how your robot is running and what it's working on. You can also set your schedule and play around with other settings, including bin capacity and reduced power mode, and much more.
The Roomba iRobot 960 from iRobot
iRobot is a brand that is synonymous with robot vacuums. The Roomba 960, priced at $700, is in the middle. It's a bit cheaper than the 980, which is the most expensive model, but packs in many of the same features such as a camera for navigation and a smartphone application with detailed cleaning maps and reports. It also has a Virtual Wall, which creates an invisible barrier that the Roomba will avoid crossing.
The 960 performed well, particularly on floors with no. It sucked up lots of food crumbs, cat litter and dirt that had been tracked in. It's also adept in climbing over obstacles like stair runners and the legs of chairs and tables. It sucked up pet hair and it also was unable to handle some finer debris like baking soda.
One thing that separates the 960 from other Roomba models is the fact that it has a separate dustbin for large debris that reduces maintenance needs. You can empty it at the press of a button, either through the iRobot HOME app, or by using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands.
The iRobot HOME App allows you to personalize every cleaning cycle. You can set the number passes and select from a variety of modes like edge clean, or a full room sweep. It also sends an alert when it's time to empty the dirt compartment.
The 960 is easy to use it has buttons on the top and controls available within the iRobot Home app, or through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It is also easy to maintain, with an indicator that shows the remaining battery on the top of the display and docking technology that automatically removes debris from the dirt compartment to the bin when it's time to empty the. The iRobot HOME app also shows you the location of each object it has gathered, and provides how-to videos for various maintenance tasks. The 960's battery life isn't the best, but it's still good enough to allow most people to run it during the day without worrying about recharging it before going to sleep. The iRobot HOME app is available on both iOS and Android devices.
The Roomba 970 from iRobot
The Roomba 970 is a robot vacuum cleaner that is compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. It uses the same advanced navigation as other recent iRobot vacuums and can detect stairs. It also has an internal camera to scan the floor as it moves about and is able to detect walls, furniture and other obstacles so that it doesn't run into objects. It can also establish boundaries for the robot using the virtual wall tool.
This model is different from older models in that it uses lithium-ion batteries instead metal hydride. This means that it can last longer between charges, and also has more stamina for cleaning. It's not as fast as the Shark AI Robot but it can navigate an area with ease.

It has an incredibly small handle on the front that you can use to return it manually to its charger, and a spot-cleaning button lets you focus on a specific part of your home. The 960 is great on bare floors. Its brushrolls and powerful vacuums can remove a lot of dust, hair, and other particles.
